Whistleblower Information

Whistleblowing is when a possible infringement of laws or regulations is reported. You do not need to be a Sainsbury’s Energy employee to report suspicious activity. Reports can be made by our staff, business partners, (their employees), and third parties.

How to make a report.

E.ON Group runs a hotline and externally operated website where you can anonymously report your concerns about activities conducted by Sainsbury’s Energy and any other part of the E.ON Group.

Whistleblowing channels should not be used to make customer complaints or queries. If you would like to report a customer related issue please follow the instructions on our complaints page.

What issues can I report through whistleblowing?

Please make a report if you suspect a possible case of:

  • Corruption

  • Fraud

  • Embezzlement

  • Tax evasion

  • Human rights or modern slavery violations

  • Competition and capital markets law violations

  • Breach of insider trading rules

  • Data protection law violations
