Where does our energy come from?
This fuel mix information is provided in accordance with the Electricity (Fuel Mix Disclosure) Regulations 2005.
Sainsbury’s Energy customers are supplied under the licence of E.ON Next.
The table below shows the fuel sources for the electricity supplied under E.ON Next in the latest reporting period and the UK national average for the same period.

Environmental Impact Information
The environmental impact information per kWh of electricity supplied under E.ON Next licences is provided below, calculated on the basis of figures provided by the BEIS (details of these can be found at the BEIS website).
Carbon Dioxide Emissions (g/KWh): The weighted average of the carbon dioxide emitted in the production of electricity from each fuel source. This is calculated on the basis of figures provided by BEIS (details of these can be found at the BEIS website).
Radioactive Waste (g/KWh): The radioactive waste, being fuel burnt in the reactor to be subsequently discharged as spent fuel. This is calculated on the basis of figures provided by the BEIS (details of these can be found at the BEIS website).
100% of the electricity used by our Sainsbury’s EV tariff customers is backed by 100% renewable sources.
